Bochner Eye Institute is pleased to celebrate its 80th anniversary as one of the world’s leading comprehensive eye care centres. Founded in 1929, Bochner Eye Institute has treated more than 100,000 patients, including 300 eye doctors, and continues to be a recognized leader in innovative ophthalmic technology. Led by two father-son teams: Harold, Raymond Stein and Harold, Albert Cheskes who were all trained at the Mayo Clinic and now teach at the University of Toronto, the Bochner Eye Institute team is comprised of more than 35 eye care physicians and consultants with locations in Toronto, Scarborough and Unionville.

Bochner Eye Institute is honored to be recognized for its 80 years of service by numerous esteemed individuals and institutions, including Prime Minister Stephen Harper, Governor General Michelle Jean, Toronto Mayor David Miller and the Ontario Government.
